Excellent Press - I bought two!

I used the older version of this press for a decade, and replaced the filter a few times. I just replaced that press with this model (I bought two, because I like a backup), and I love it. We have a much more expensive Bodum press which isn't any better. This is very durable, and it lives in our sink when it's not in use making coffee. The filter and gasket around the filter do an excellent job containing the grounds and keeping them out of the coffee. I may buy a third one just to have two backups! This is the best French Press I've found for the money by far.

Oh, another reason I like this new version is that when not in use I flip the lid upside down so the plunger rod hangs down inside the vessel. And the fits perfectly that way, upside down too. I like to store it that way so that the gasket around the filter screen is not compressed when not in use and lasts longer. I'm a nerd.

Great French Press

After using other French presses that don’t filter out the grounds, I was skeptical to buy this. But I really thought it looked like a great design. It turned out to be true. The seals inside and the housing are well made. Makes for a great cup of coffee. Recommend 4-5 table spoons for a full press. Thanks GSI!

I love it!! I would recommend this coffee press to anyone. I've used several times and so easy to use, and no grounds in my cup of coffee.
