Warranty
GSI Outdoors products are covered by a Lifetime Warranty against material and workmanship defects. Products found to be defective will be supplied with replacement parts if possible or altogether replaced at our discretion. I purchased a Selkirk 540 stove several years ago and used it regularly with zero issues. This year was a little different when using it. I had to resort to using an external ignition source. Soon after that I found the air/fuel mixture to be way off and with no real way to adjust it, I was forced to contact customer service (which I really didn’t want to do). Well that’s where things got really weird, after I provided some information to the company representative, He told me he was issuing a replacement unit at ZERO cost to me, NO shipping fee, NO charges of any sort…FREE!!
When I asked where he wanted the broken unit returned to he said to either donate it to charity or dispose of it if totally useless. I was absolutely shocked by this and this one act has made me a customer for life!
So much lighter, smaller and more efficient than lugging the BlackStone around.
