WHAT YOU CAN MAKE IN OUR JAVAPRESS!

Think your Javapress is a one hit wonder? Think again! There are so many things you can make with a french press besides coffee (although that’s always a good option). Here are some of our favorite ways to make the most out of your Javapress

COLD BREW

I know we said besides coffee, but cold brew is different! Cold brew coffee provides a richer and smoother coffee than regular hot brew. Cold brew coffee is about two-thirds less acidic than traditional coffee. The only difference between making traditional french press coffee and cold brew is the timing. Regular coffee is ready for you to enjoy in a couple of minutes but cold brew takes between 18 to 24 hours to be ready. The wait is well worth it!

LOOSE LEAF TEA

Even though we talk a lot about coffee, tea is actually the most popular drink in the world. And our Javapress works just as well for brewing loose leaf tea. Place your tea leaves in the French press, just as you would coffee grounds, and let it steep. Then press down the plunger so that the mesh strainer keeps the tea leaves out of your cup. Finally, pour and enjoy!

FROTH MILK

Why buy a separate milk frother when your coffee maker can do both! Warm up your milk of choice and then pour it into your french press, then give it several quick pumps. The milk will gradually become frothier. Pour into your cup and feel like a barista in no time.

MIXED DRINKS

Don’t have a cocktail mixer? No problem! Put all of your ingredients into the french press and start to pump the plunger. You’ll feel like a proper bartender as you watch the ingredients mix into a fancy drink. Pour your drink and add whatever garnish you like.

REHYDRATE FOOD

Whenever you need to rehydrate dried food, whether you’re camping or cooking up something new in the kitchen, you can use your french press! Simply place your dried food inside and cover with hot water. Let the food set for a few minutes then press down and drain the water. So easy!
