Born out of the need for River and Pack guides to reduce weight of their conventional cast iron cookware, GSI Outdoors introduces the GUIDECAST product line to provide the best lightweight cast iron cookware on the market.
The superior craftsmanship of the products in this line will last for years if not generations and combined with the weight and material savings, results in a smaller carbon footprint helping to reduce our impact on our ecosystem for generations to come.
Gourmet, lightweight cast-iron frypan is 20-40% lighter then conventional cast iron fry pans, while offering uncompromising cooking performance. Nitrided surface treatment helps to prevent corrosion. Polished interior and exterior bottoms perform on all cooking surfaces, from a campfire to an induction stove.

Support and Warranty
DANGER: Always assume that the handle will be very hot during use and after cooking. Always use the appropriate protection to insulate your hand from the heat of the handle.
All GSI Outdoors products are fully warranted to the original owner against manufacturer's defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear and tear, which includes, but is not limited to, scuffs, dust, dirt, abrasion, etc., is not a valid reason for a warranty return. Repairs due to accident, improper care, or negligence will be performed at a reasonable charge.
WARNING: Prior to initial use, always wash with hot water and mild detergent at home and dry immediately. Use only nylon pads or scrapers to clean surfaces. Metal pads and scrapers can damage and/or remove seasoning. Always allow components to dry completely before storing. Remove stains by scouring with a paste of course salt or baking soda with warm water. Never rinse or submerge a hot pan into water as this can damage the pan.
